Learn to Lie Like a Pro & Get Everything You Want in Life

When I was a child, if I told you I had something that I didn’t physically have and I was overheard by my parents, I most likely would have been in trouble for lying. As adults, if someone lies to us we often brand them as a liar and a dishonest person and we no longer trust them, nor do we hold them in high regard. Because of this belief system we find it difficult to differentiate between a dishonest lie and an empowering vision. There is huge difference between the two but by lumping both ‘lies’ into the same category, you may be holding yourself back from what you desire most in your life.

There are two sides to us, the physical side which I will refer to as our ego, and our non-physical side which I will refer to as our spiritual self. The two sides are not separate, they are more like filters through which we see and interpret the world. Our ego is our physical self that is here in this physical time/space reality living through our five senses and is limited to our body’s ability and our mindset boundaries. Our spiritual self doesn’t have rules and restrictions like the beliefs that our ego believes are real. There is no good and bad or right and wrong. Our spirit is pure love and doesn’t comprehend lying, therefore lying doesn’t really exist; it is a manmade belief. From a spiritual perspective, there can and will be no wrong. Every moment has its place in the scheme of things. You must take on this way of thinking to receive in your life that which you desire.

Belief in lack of abundance is a lie in itself…

To reflect on the traditional way of thinking regarding lying: Believing in a lack of abundance is in itself a lie because believing that abundance is not abundant puts a restriction on Source that simply is not true; “Through God ALL things are possible.” Everything we have ever asked for has been given to us; everything. However because Source is spirit and listens to your thoughts and feelings over the words that come from your mouth, we need to be sure we are asking in Source’s language rather than in English. To sum it up in one sentence, although entire books are written on the subject, we ask through our belief in what is possible, not through the words we speak. If we believe we have money, we have money. If we believe we have no money, then we are given ‘no money’, even if we want money we get what we believe instead. If you believe that for you to have something it means others will go without, this is also a belief that is not aligned with Source’s expanding abundance. You are probably telling Source you don’t want what you desire because you think you would be selfishly making someone go without. That is a very noble thought but still not aligned with Source’s abundance.

If we verbally ask for something but believe deep inside that it is unobtainable then we are, in fact, asking for the un-obtainment of that thing. If you feel resistance to what I am saying in the remainder of this article, more than likely I am infringing on one of your ego-derived beliefs because your spirit does not judge; it only loves. We know this because we come from a source of pure love, and you are what you come from. If I take a jug of water and pour some into a glass, we know that it is water in the glass because it came from the jug that contains water. It cannot be any other liquid in the glass no matter what shape it takes on because of the shape of the glass. We too are pure love with no limits, and only during this physical experience on earth are we restricted by the limits we set for ourselves in our mind. We are pure love and our contrasting beliefs are set by our mind and are just that: beliefs. They are perceived limitations only and they’re not real limitations at all.

When I say, “I’m going to teach you to lie like a pro”, it is only a lie according to limiting beliefs but is not really a lie at all. The source of all that is, exists outside of time. So, if you were to say, “I have a home in the Maldives”, and you believe it because you know that the physical home comes from a Source that exists outside of time and that there is only ever ‘right now’, then you do have a home in the Maldives. It is there already, you just haven’t taken position of it yet in this physical reality where we believe time to be real. Keep what I have just said in the back of your mind. I will come back to it after I tell you this story, which may make things a little easier to understand.

Now imagine this…

Nearly four years ago, my wife Candice and I bought a new car. Had you asked me before I bought the car if I owned a new car, I would have said, “No.” One fine Saturday morning, we test drove a Subaru Impreza, loved it and signed on the dotted line. That afternoon, if you had asked me if I had a new car, I would have said, “Yes.” What had changed? Had I paid for the car? No. Was the car in the driveway? No. Could I touch the car? No. I didn’t physically collect the car for another five days as it wasn’t ready until about Thursday. Did this change the fact that I believed I had the new car? No. In my mind, I owned it. I just hadn’t physically collected it yet. The ball was set in motion for me to receive what I knew I owned long before I held it in my physical possession.

Now, I’d like to stretch your understanding a little further. Four years ago, I knew I owned the car from that Saturday onwards when I set the metaphorical ball in motion but really the ball was already in motion loooong before I even knew I wanted a Subaru Impreza. A week earlier our car was on a transporter truck. A month earlier it was on a ship. Four months earlier it was on an assembly line. Two years earlier it was being designed and was just a bunch of pixels on a computer screen and a vision in someone’s mind. Over 100 years earlier, Henry Ford was inventing the automobile. Shall I keep going back, perhaps to the first horse-drawn cart or the invention of the wheel?

By the time you ask for what you want, it is already on its way, IT IS ALREADY YOURS. Just like how I believed the car was mine between when I signed for it and when I collected it five days later, all you need to do is believe something is yours and it will show up. All the ground work has been done and the final touches are being completed and delivery is being organised as you think about that thing you want. It has been prepared for you and it will appear physically on time every time and we know this because the Source of all that is, exists outside of time.¹

This is true with everything; everything is intertwined in perfect harmony. Just like the sun evaporates water to create clouds which then provide rain where it was dry, so too are you intertwined in this physical life. You support the universe and it supports you in return. Proof of this is when you sell or give away that thing you no longer use at the perfect time someone wants that same thing in their life. One day I will pass my pre-loved car to someone who wants it exactly when I’m selling it. They might have no idea of the effort the universe went to to provide them with that Subaru, but we do. They probably also won’t know that they’re buying a car which is now famous.

I’m moving to the Maldives!

So, back to the home in the Maldives – it is already mine. Done deal. There are just a few things I need to take care of first in this time/space reality and then it will show up at the perfect time and not a second sooner or later. The only thing that can stop me from receiving my desire is if I believe it is not mine and was never meant for me. This is where free will comes into it; it is up to me. Source or God or whatever name you use for the invisible Creator that brings everything into physical existence, exists outside of time and knows what you will ask for tomorrow and therefore it is on the production assembly line for you today.

What I am talking about here goes way beyond cars and homes in the Maldives. All of this stuff is just stuff. Choose love. Choose joy. Know you are joyful and know that all that assists you in being joyful has been yours since before you were born and has been in preparation waiting for you to know it is yours so it can show up in your life.

Lying is a man-made belief. I am not recommending you become a conman and deceive others, although if you feel that becoming one is for the good of yourself and the world then I suppose you can if you choose to. There is no judgement here, only love.

Believe you have something and you shall have it. Feel guilty because your parents told you that claiming something you are yet to physically hold is a lie and that lying is wrong and you will experience a lot of lack in your life.

Believe you are lying when you say something is yours and you will just be lying. Lie like a pro and realise it is not a lie at all: believe it yours, and it is.

¹In my mind I imagine a Being with the universe in His hands and a time line going through the middle of the universe representing the start of time in this physical reality, until the finish. The hands are outside of the time line and therefore outside of time.
